The Radiological Society of North America is going to host its annual meeting, RSNA 2011, later on this year. The official website of the Society has recently released more information about the event to its visitors. Information includes some more general details on the RSNA 2011 event details.
RSNA 2011 Membership
The informative page on the Society’s website has short notes on RSNA membership and its benefits, such as free attendance to the annual meeting along with free subscription to Society’s publications including Radiology and RadioGraphics journals. For those who wish to attend RSNA 2011 as members, membership application will start by the 1st of September.
The same page has also other important dates, such as the 1st of June, when the general registration for RSNA 2011 will take place. On the 6th of July, course enrollment will begin. Final registration for discounted fees will extend until the 4th of November. Following registration, course materials will be sent to members in advance. However, attendees coming from outside the United States should register by the 21st of October to receive the course materials in advance.
RSNA 2011 Fees
Among the important details added released recently are the fees for attending RSNA 2011. The fees range between $100 up to $800 based on the registration category and the date of registration. Yet, certain categories can attend the event for free regardless of the registration date, such as RSNA Member-in-Training, RSNA Student Member and Non-Member Student, in addition to presenters whether they are RSNA members or not.
RSNA 2011 and International Attendees
The information available at the Society’s website includes details about RSNA 2011 international attendees. Details highlight the Visa Waiver program that allows visitors from certain countries to visit the United States without having a need to acquire visas before travel. As the time moves on, more information about RSNA 2011 will be released.
