08:30 AM – 10:00 AM
Wendy R. K. Smoker, MD, and Deborah L. Reede, MD
This session has two sections. First is Suprahyoid Neck, in which attendees become familiar with the various facially-defined spaces of the suprahyoid neck. They will learn the major contents of each space. This section generates a list of common pathologies involving each space. The second section is Infrahyoid Neck. It reviews the clinical presentation and imaging characteristics of common neck masses. Attendees will understand the importance of clinical history and physical exam findings in the evaluation of a patient with a neck mass. They will learn about a differential diagnosis algorithm for these lesions based on the common locations of presenting clinical complaint.
