Objective:

Attendees will learn more about the common pitfalls of / image interpretation in a busy radiology practice and solutions for interpretive errors and oversights. This session discusses key significance of thoroughly evaluating both the PET (metabolic) and CT (anatomic) components and suggestions for optimizing reporting of PET/CT results. It will list the most common unexpected findings on PET/CT scans that are of clinical significance. Attendees will learn proactive means of improving referrals for PET/CT scans and gaining the confidence of referring physicians. They will also understand various imaging protocols for optimizing PET/CT throughput, quality and interpreter reading time.
