Objective:

This session has three sections. First is , which discusses the performance and indications of SPECT and PET for evaluation of myocardial ischemia. It also highlights the performance and indications of SPECT and PET for evaluation of myocardial viability. Attendees will get informed about the complementarily of anatomical and functional imaging. The second section is MR Imaging. It describes techniques used for evaluation myocardial ischemia with MR Imaging. It also describes the use of MR Imaging for evaluating myocardial viability. Attendees will get informed about the use of MR Imaging for evaluating stress induced ischemia. Third section, Imaging, discusses the implementation of coronary MDCTA to assess myocardial ischemia in patients with symptomatic heart disease.
